Consumable mop material heads are excluded unless defective upon arrival.
2. Guarantee Period:

This guarantee is valid for a period of three (3) months from the date of purchase.
Definition of "date of purchase" (as evidenced by the original sales receipt or invoice)
3. What the Guarantee Covers (Defects):

Manufacturing Defects: 
Cracks or breaks in buckets under normal use.
Malfunctioning ringer mechanisms.
Defective stitching or material separation on mop heads (not due to wear and tear).
Broken or faulty mop handles.
Not Covered (Exclusions): 
Normal Wear and Tear: Deterioration from regular use (e.g., fading, scratching, expected fraying of mop fibers over time).
Misuse or Abuse: Damage resulting from:
Dropping, throwing, or excessive force.
Use with inappropriate chemicals or cleaning solutions.
Use for purposes other than intended (e.g., using a bucket as a step stool).
Negligence or improper storage.
Alterations or modifications to the product.
Accidental Damage: Damage from accidents not related to manufacturing defects (e.g., pet damage, fire, floods).
Lack of Maintenance: Failure to clean or maintain the product as recommended (if applicable).
Consumable Parts: Unless defective upon arrival, items designed to be replaced regularly (e.g., replaceable mop heads after their typical lifespan).
Damage from extreme temperatures.
Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality.
4. Remedy for Valid Claims:

Replacement: A direct replacement of the same or equivalent model.
Store Credit/Refund: A refund or credit will be passed where applicable
Customer is responsible for shipping costs for returning the product for inspection
5. How to Make a Claim:

Proof of Purchase: Mandate presentation of the original sales receipt or invoice. "No receipt, no guarantee."
Notification Method: Contact our customer service department via phone at 0860 5272437 or email at customercare.za@karcher.com 
Information Required: What details do you need from the customer? (e.g., "Product name, date of purchase, description of defect, photos/videos of the defect").
Return Process: The product must be returned clean and in its original packaging if possible
Inspection Period: Allow for 3-4 business days for inspection and processing of your claim
6. Limitation of Liability:

Karcher South Africa liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the product.
Excluded liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product (e.g., "We are not responsible for any loss of profits, business interruption, or other indirect damages").
7. Severability:

Should any part of the terms be found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain valid.
9. Entire Agreement:

These terms represent the complete agreement between the parties regarding the guarantee.
10.  Important Caveats & General Provisions

"This guarantee is non-transferable."
"The decision regarding the validity of a claim rests solely withKarcher South Africa.
"We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, provided that any such changes will not affect guarantees already in effect."
